  Food was OK but was expensive compared to other restaurants of a similar perceived quality. The restaurant was busy and our table seemed to be in the middle of the corridor so quiet conversations not feasible. Additionally the lovely big cobweb hanging on the wall at the side of the table was somewhat off-putting.

  Country food for city prices. £20 for lamb which consisted of 5 slices of lamb 1 potato and a few leaves of kale. By the time I ate 2 slices of lamb there was no veg left!! Just 3 slices of cold lamb and some watery gravy. Oh forgot about the 'sharing veg' for 2, half a handful of carrot sticks 3 bits of broccoli and cauliflower.good place to go If you're on a diet. 10% service charge added to bill also which is a joke, service staff were amateurish. Shame I had to rate 1 star, wasn't really worthy of that. Probably get a better meal at the Duke of Wellington for a fraction of the price.
